RTÉ Morning Ireland – NUI Galway: Words of Comfort

First and third year Bachelor of Arts in Modern Irish Culture Studies students, led by Whitaker Institute member Dr Nessa Cronin, have been writing open letters to residents in nursing homes across the county. The initiative, Comfort Words, is a partnership between the Centre for Irish Studies, NUI Galway, and Nursing Homes Ireland to help combat loneliness and isolation during the pandemic. Listen below.
