The aim of this project is to build a transatlantic network of researchers dealing with the issues raised by the application of information and communications technology (ICT) for environmental regulation (ER). (This means any scheme or process, whether managed by the state or some other actor, which aims to produce more sustainable behaviour on the part of individuals or firms. ICT can be used for information gathering and dissemination, problem identification and as a medium for rapid and continuous feedback.)
