Irish Examiner – One in six students living in areas with poor broadband

A new study has found one in six students live in areas with poor broadband coverage, leading to calls for higher education providers to prioritise access to campus facilities for those with substandard internet access. The paper, published in the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, was authored by researchers from the Whitaker Institute, University of Limerick, and Trinity College Dublin.
