Special session on Managing your Research Profile, Open Access Publishing, ARAN, and Data Management

The Whitaker Institute is delighted to present a special session on the above topics on Thursday 17th January, from 10:30am to 12:30am. This session is suitable for academics and other researchers of the Whitaker Institute. The format will be as follows:
- The session will commence with an Introduction to Data Management by Ms Trish Finnan. This session will be particularly helpful for individuals currently managing data, or intending to submit research funding proposals.
- Following on from this, Ms Rosie Dunne will outline strategies for managing your research profile and ways to increase the visibility of your research.
- Finally, Ms Trish Finnan will present an informative session on Open Access publishing, with a special focus on ARAN. At the end of this session, there will be a practical, where participants will have an opportunity to upload their publications to ARAN.
Attendees who wish to avail of the practical session for uploading papers to ARAN are requested to bring their laptops, as well as the version of the paper they wish to upload. Important: the version of your paper required for ARAN is the final draft post-refereeing without the publishers type-setting, formatting, logos and pagination.
