Professors Mike Danilovic and Svante Andersson from Halmstad University, Sweden, are visiting NUIGalway to discuss further collaboration and present up-to date research. Mike Danilovic is Director of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Learning Research (CIEL). CIEL’s main purpose is from a mutli-disciplinary perspective to develop research, knowledge and expertise within innovation, business enterprise, internationalization and regional learning. Svante Andersson is Director of Studies for Research education in Innovation Sciences and Master Education in International Marketing. Mike Danilovic will present his on-going research project dealing with managing complex system and Svante Andersson will present his on-going project dealing with Born Globals.

Dr Thomas Hoholm is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department Department of Innovation and Economic Organisation at the BI Norwegian Business School. He is interested in processes of innovation, learning and knowing in and across organizations. Most of his work has been based on fieldwork within the food industry (agri- and aquaculture), but he has also done some collaborative work concerning hospitals, petroleum industry, and education. In particular, he is interested in how organizational practices and processes tend to be shaped through a complex interplay of human, technological, economic and cultural elements.
