Dr James Cunningham, National University of Ireland, Galway and Dr Clare Gately, Waterford Institute of Technology will host a workshop for entrepreneurs, principal investigators, professionals involved in supporting start-up, commercialisation specialists and policy makers with an interest in innovation, entrepreneurship and research commercialisation. The workshop is an opportunity to hear the results and discuss the implications of studies on new venture formation and publicly funded principal investigators in science, engineering and technology, which have been funded by the Irish Research Council and the Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions Cycle 4. Dr James Cunningham is the Director of the Whitaker Institute for Innovation and Societal Change and Dr Clare Gately is a lecturer in strategy and entrepreneurship at Waterford Institute of Technology.
