Placemaking Symposium and Workshops – Connecting with the Future through Placemaking

Great places attract. They are places that people want to live in and be in. Given that the world is becoming increasingly urban it is important that we work together to make our cities, suburbs, towns and villages places that are good for people and the planet. We need to make inviting places that inspire creativity, culture, sustainability and community and attract businesses and residents alike. This year’s Placemaking Symposium looks at Galway’s future by focusing on Nun’s Island, Galway’s Public Realm, and making rural towns and villages more liveable.  Join us for presentations in the morning and the afternoon workshops.
