Rejuvenate your business through entrepreneurship (UCC Main Campus Boole 2)
Keystone Public Lecture with networking reception beforehand in Common Room of Quad (18.00)
This lecture is targeted at established organisations, as well as start-ups. The discussion will centre on how established businesses can reinvigorate their business practices through nurturing entrepreneurial flair. Hanadi will not only address the potential benefits of nurturing such entrepreneurial behaviour but also the associated challenges of managing entrepreneurial employees.
Overcoming start-up and SME road-blocks (UCC ORahilly Building Room 2.55)
Master class 1
This master class will address the challenges start-ups and SMEs face in a global market and how these can be overcome. This session will address issues such as how to innovate, the route to market, managing people, making the most of your team and access to finance. This master class is very interactive and is guided by issues raised by the attendees and also from case studies.
Negotiation: The secret art of the entrepreneur (UCC ORahilly Building Room 2.55)
Master class 2
This master class will focus on how to negotiate. Again this session will be very interactive and cover a wide range of issues including how to negotiate with suppliers, with employees, with finance providers (banks, business angels and the VC community) and with members of the senior management team.
Business Models and value-capture (UCC ORahilly Building Room 2.55)
Master class 3 – Full
This master class is aimed at third-level researchers and those contemplating the entrepreneurial journey. It will address the business canvass and the building blocks of business development.
