Celebrating Five Years of the Whitaker Institute Writing Development Programme

After 5 successful years of the Whitaker Institute Writing Development Programme, this event will celebrate and showcase the work of the programme and its participants. Please come and join us to learn more about how effective writing and high quality publications can be facilitated by structured programmes.

4 pm: Tea & coffee

4.20 pm: Opening remarks by Professor Alan Ahearne, Director of the Whitaker Institute. 

4.30 pm: Writing Matters: Reflections on the Importance of Academic Writing Development and Support by Prof Sarah Moore, Associate Vice-President, University of Limerick

5.15 pm: Strategies for Becoming a Productive and Published Writer – Lessons from 5 years of the Writing Development Programme by Dr Rachel Hilliard, Writers’ Development Workshop Co-ordinator.
