Dr Eoin Whelan – Social Media Overload
A new study by Whitaker Institute member Dr Eoin Whelan, of the Agile and Open Thinking research cluster, has examined the problem of social media overload – the feeling of being overwhelmed with the amount of communication and information a person is exposed to while using social media. The research, which was published in Internet Research, specifically focused on identifying the causes of social media overload amongst users, and how it affects their energy levels.
