Call for Papers: Micro, Institutional and Practice Perspectives of Technology Transfer

The 2015 Technology Transfer Society Conference will take place at DIT, Aungier Street, Dublin, Ireland from 28th – 30th October 2015 and will explore and examine the micro perspectives of technology transfer in different institutional, organizational and governance contexts through a variety of theoretical lens and using different methodological approaches.

Submissions

Those wishing to organize or chair a session on one of the following topics or on a relevant new topic should submit a proposal (title of the session, brief description of the session, and name, affiliation, and email address of the chair) to t2s2015@dit.ie :

  • Institutional Based Supports – Incubators and Science Parks
  • Models of University Industry Technology Transfer
  • Public Entrepreneurship
  • University and Firm R&D Collaborations
  • Capabilities of TTO Staff
  • Reward and Incentive Systems for Researchers and TTO Staff
  • Role Intermediary Advisors and Technology Transfer Experts
  • TTO Environmental Scanning Activities
  • Academic and Scientific Entrepreneurship
  • Resourcing of TTO
  • Research Centre, Group and Team Dynamics
  • The conference will result in two publications:
    a special issue of the Journal of Technology Transfer and a book volume.

Those wishing to present a paper that fits the conference theme or within one of the above areas of interest, should submit an abstract (title of the paper, up to 200 words description, area of interest and presenter affiliation and email information). Early abstract submissions are now being accepted and should be submitted online.

All session proposals, paper proposals, and abstracts should be submitted not later than 16th June 2015.
