The Cairnes School/Whitaker Institute Inaugural Professorial Lecture Series continued on Wednesday 06 November with Esther Tippmann, Professor of of Strategy, Leadership and Change. Professor Tippmann explored the challenges and opportunities for developing subsidiaries. Drawing on research-based insights, she discussed how managers in subsidiaries could deliver value beyond their mandate, develop innovative solutions within a complex organizational setting and develop their roles and mandates. The talk presented insights for well-established subsidiaries and subsidiaries of young scaling firms.

Professor Esther Tippmann was in conversation with Mark Gantly, President of the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland, Senior R&D Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
