The NUI Galway Research Office, together with the Ryan Institute, have invited Alice Wemaere (National Contact Point for Ireland – Horizon 2020 – Societal Challenge 5) to present on Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5, 2018-2020 Work Programme – Climate action, environment, resources efficiency and raw materials at NUI Galway.
The presentation will take place Monday, 11th December, from 11:00am – 12:00pm in the NCBES Seminar Room in the Orbsen Building.
Ms. Wemaere will introduce the programme and its priorities, go through the applications process, and close with a Q&A session.

- Raw materials
- Water for our environment, economy and society
- Innovating cities for sustainability and resilience
- Protecting and leveraging the value of our natural and cultural assets (which includes Earth observation, nature-based solutions, disaster risk reduction and natural capital accounting, and heritage alive).
