Would you trust a robot more than your doctor? Trust and technology terrorism in medicine

This talk will explore recent technological innovations in healthcare and why sometimes they don’t work as expected. The psychological science that underpins these successes and failures in ‘real-life’ will be explored, including examples of the importance of stakeholder involvement in design and implementation of new technologies.
