Fin-swimming for PIER Project

A qualified beach lifeguard and specialist diver is participating in PIER Project, which contains a work package by Whitaker members, by fin-swimming around Ireland.  The PIER Project aims to assess whether people regularly involved in Irish water activities are more likely to pick up and carry antibiotic resistance bacteria in their gut.  Read more from The Irish Times and RTÉ.ie.
