Open Your Mind…and Get to the Point!
Threesis is an academic challenge open to all NUI Galway staff and students. Entrants will present their research in 3 slides and 3 minutes to 3 judges in a way that anyone and everyone can understand.
Five heats will be held on campus at lunchtime with 3 winners from each heat going on to the final, where the entrants will by vying for prizes:
Research Areas and Heat Dates
Biomedical Science & Engineering – 1pm, 23rd September
Informatics, Physical & Computational – 1pm, 30th September
Environment, Marine & Energy – 1pm,7th of October
Social Science & Public Policy – 1pm, 14th October
Humanities in Context – 1pm, 28th October 2014
All heats will take place in the View in Aras Na Mac Leinn and lunch will be provided.
