The IS Seminar Series will kick off on Friday, 19th January at 11am in CA110 (SAC Room) with a talk from Dr. Eoin Whelan, Business Information Systems, NUI Galway entitled “A Primer on Partial Least Squared Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM)”.  The aim of the seminar series is to encourage in-depth academic conversations on research in the discipline and to be supportive of developing high quality output.  A range of national and international speakers have been invited and will present talks on a wide range of topics

Eoin Whelan is a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He is also a visiting professor at the Institute d’Economie Scientifique et de Gestion (IESEG), France, and a visiting researcher at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. His publications have appeared in the 3* journals including MIT Sloan Management Review, Information Systems Journal, R&D Management and Journal of Information Technology. His MIT Sloan paper on open innovation networks has won the prestigious Richard Beckhard Memorial Prize, awarded to the authors of the most outstanding MIT Sloan article on planned change and organisational development.
