Event Navigation

PROSOCIAL is a framework for improving the efficacy of groups and was developed by the Evolution Institute. PROSOCIAL is based on eight core design principles that can be applied to any group that must cooperate and coordinate to achieve shared goals. The PROSOCIAL framework itself represents a synthesis of various scientific disciplines including evolutionary science, economics, political science, and the applied behavioral sciences and offers an innovative, practical and flexible structure for establishing group identity, clarifying shared values and goals, and enhancing group functioning and effectiveness in the service of these values. This talk will outline the PROSOCIAL framework using examples of how it has been applied to current issues, such as preventing the spread of Ebola in Sierra Leone by working with local chiefdoms.
