‘CREATE’ workshop 2014

Lisa Hynes and Teresa Corbett, students on the Structured PhD in Psychology and Health, School of Psychology, NUI Galway

In this seminar Lisa and Teresa will provide an overview of the ways in which social media (including twitter, facebook, and linkedin) is being leveraged to facilitate the implementation of interventions, recruitment of participants, dissemination of research findings and collaboration between researchers. They will introduce two major current issues for discussion, namely: What are the ethical issues associated with recruiting participants and conducting interventions using social media and how can these be addressed?  How can researchers prioritise dissemination through social media as well as tradition methods of publication?

All are welcome to attend.
