Inner Source from the Trenches – a Lero industry workshop

INNER SOURCE is an emerging paradigm of software development that aims to adopt best practices and tools from successful open source software development projects. Many companies are adopting Inner Source initiatives, but much uncertainty remains about how to go about it.

There will be four expert speakers from industry who will share their experiences on Inner Source:

• Vijay K Gurbani, a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Computer Systems and Security Research group in the Enabling Computing Technologies Domain at Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent
• Dirk Riehle, Professor for Open Source Software at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nurnberg
• Dermot Hughes, program manager at Ericsson
• John Landy, Lead Product Owner for a group championing inner source community development
