Ann is a social scientist with a background in sociology, politics and geography and is completing a PhD in information systems, that looks at the value of online public engagement. She has presented her work at international conferences; including International Federation of Information Processing eGovernment eParticipation, European Group of Public Administration and International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance and is currently working with the HRB- Trials Methodology Research Network on an online public engagement project The People’s Trial.
