Presentation overview:

This presentation will outline three trends in services marketing using the specific industries of health, environment and accountancy.  The first speaker will discuss the use of mobile phones in behaviour change and use examples of SMS programs and smartphone apps.  These examples are drawn from social marketing programs in health, transport and the environment.  The second speaker will discuss the changing landscape in blood donation with altruism no longer the prime motivator particularly for Gen Y. This presentation will outline research conducted on the role of the servicescape and emotions in influencing young donor behaviour.  The third speaker will discuss a new trend in accountancy services; cloud computing.  The use of the internet to store and share files is changing the nature of accountancy practices in terms of staff location, co-creation with clients and opportunities to offer more detailed business advice.
