This event will include the dissemination of the findings from the one year Crisis Pregnancy Programme funded project ‘Adherence and uptake of hormonal and long acting reversible contraceptives in Ireland’.

Dr Gerry Molloy and Leigh-Ann Sweeney will summarise the main findings of this quantitative and qualitative project.

Keynote: Prof Roger Ingham, Director of the Centre for Sexual Health Research, Southampton University,

Helen Deeley, Director of, the Crisis Pregnancy Programme,

Dr Miriam Daly, the Irish College of General Practitioners 

Asst. Prof Sheila Ryder, School of Pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin

 

Interactive workshop sessions will take place in the afternoon where there will be the opportunity to create a space for all disciplines to come together to share their knowledge and experiences.

Practitioners who would like to earn Internal/External credits for their attendance and contribution can do so (CPD), please refer to the ICGP website for further details.

Morning tea/coffee, 3 course lunch, followed by afternoon refreshments will be provided for all courtesy of event organisers.

This event is aimed at practitioners (GPs, Pharmacists, and Community Groups), researchers and policy makers with an interest in this topic.
