October 30, 2009 @ 10:30 am

Organised by: Professor William DeLone

Event Navigation

William DeLone is Professor of Information Systems at the Kogod School of Business at American University (Washington DC) and Executive Director of the Center for Teaching, Research and Learning. His research interests include the assessment of information systems’ effectiveness and value. Professor DeLone’s article entitled “Information Systems Success: The Quest for the Dependent Variable” was recently determined to be the most cited article appearing in the top three information systems journals in the last 15 years (“Assessing Leading Institutions, Faculty, and Articles in Premier Information Systems Research Journals”, by Paul Benjamin Lowry, Gilbert G. Karuga, Vernon J. Richardson, in Communications of the AIS, Volume 20, 2007).

His current project deals with the identification of independent variables and studying the resultant impact on Information Systems success. This is a conceptual paper which may have broader appeal to the NUI Galway community given the structured literature review approach used by Professor DeLone.

All are welcome. Please feel free to circulate information on this event to colleagues who may be interested in attending.
