The Centre for Innovation & Structural Change at NUI Galway is delighted to host the 2nd Annual Social Marketing Conference on Friday 4th June 2010 in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics and Aras Moyola, NUI Galway.

Guest speakers include:
· Professor Gerard Hastings, Director, Institute for Social Marketing, Stirling University, Scotland;
· Dr. Ray Lowry, Senior Lecturer, Newcastle University, UK and
· Professor Jeff French, CEO, Strategic Social Marketing and former director of National Social Marketing Centre, UK.

CALL FOR PAPERS!
In these demanding times, insights into enabling, encouraging and supporting human behaviour from Social Marketing provides new ways to successfully tackle social and public issues in, for example, health, the environment, the community, and policy formulation. The 2nd Annual Social Marketing Conference brings together global experts in behaviour change with practitioners and leaders in the public and voluntary sector.

Suitable papers are invited under the following three themes:
· Public Health and Well-Being
· Policy Formulation and Implementation
· The Environment and Energy

Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process and selected papers will be presented as part of the parallel sessions, which will take place on Friday 4th June from 1.45pm – 3.15pm.The deadline for the submission of full papers is Monday 17th May at 5.00pm.
